What's New at LifeX 🚀

Holidays, Homes, & High Spirits 

We’ve been working hard and enjoying the summer this last month, change is in the air with fall just around the corner. This change in the season got us inspired and we’re excited to launch a new website along with a new look! We’ve also been celebrating our three year anniversary in Berlin. Lastly, we opened four new apartments, one in London and three in Copenhagen. Between all this, our team enjoyed great summer holidays and are ready to keep rolling! We’re happy that a busy summer for us means lots of new members; we’re looking forward to safely welcoming lots of new faces to our community in the upcoming weeks!

Monthly Deep Dive: The Move-In Process 🔑

At LifeX there’s nothing we love more than welcoming new members to our homes and community! New members often ask how the move-in process works; with lots of homes and members arriving all the time, we think we’ve developed a pretty good system. When a new member signs a rental contract for one of our homes the process starts right away! As soon as they sign they are invited to download our LifeX membership app. Once they have an account set up they can move through a digital onboarding process, where they can make a profile, say hello to their new housemates, check out the community, and more! Another essential task they can complete on the app is to arrange their move-in, our staff on the ground will ensure a key is waiting for them at a secure pick-up point. Since our homes are move-in ready, most of our new members show up with just a suitcase (or three...😉). Our favourite thing about welcoming new members is the welcome dinner. We sponsor and encourage households to have a house dinner together whenever a new person moves in so they have a chance to meet and bond! 

Member Spotlight: Meet Chen-Wen! ⭐️

Chen-Wen is from Taiwan and has been living in Copenhagen for just over a year! She has lived in six cities across four countries over the last ten years - we feel very lucky to have her as part of our community in Copenhagen! Her natural curiosity and international background undoubtedly play a key part in her role working for the United Nations. 🌎  When she's not working you can find her hanging out with her housemates and staying active outdoors in nature! Read more
